Can’t believe he’s not sitting there with tears running down his face. Hopefully he at least was able to take a “legal” pain med???
When Alberto Contador said he’d banged his knee and it was causing him trouble at the Tour de France, I think he might have been understating just how badly bruised it was.
I wouldn’t have even tried to walk. He carried on riding the Tour.
Not just riding the Tour but being a serious contender for it up until the Galibier.
My eyes are watering looking at the size of the bruise. I can’t begin to fathom how much it hurt racing on that.
